I have no idea if Bob Moosbrugger can scrape together the $850,000 or whatever it would take to buy Mike Jinks out, but that may be the least bad option at this point.

I can confidently say if he doesn't he'll be down two season ticket holders here for the foreseeable future.

An apathetic fan base is worse than an angry fan base.

We have both....most of the fan base no longer cares. Those that do are seething....

I believe Jinks is down to 0 defenders now.

I was still trying to defend him as well, but I just can’t anymore. I think the team has given up on him as well. Doege just tacked the ball and braces for impact back in the pocket.

I would like to finally welcome everyone to the reasonable side! I'm glad all of your orange and brown glasses have been ripped from your heads and you all can now see Mike Jinx for the fraud and thief that he is. I've been saying it for 2 years now. Like I said many times, i wasn't being negative, was just keeping it real and telling you all the truth. Most of you didn't want to believe it. Glad to finally have everyone on board. Lets get rid of this joke Mike Jinx and get our once proud program pointed back in the right direction.

OK Crazy - Are you going to pay for it? I am very frustrated also and left today's game early. I don't like where the program is at, but I don't know where the money is going to come from to buy him out. From everything that has been stated in the past, our athletic department's budget is 12th out of the 12 MAC teams.

We continue to pay due to the mistakes of Chris Kingston and the lack of recruiting done by Dino Babers.

I am so ready for hockey season.

There's enough money games between this and next season to absorb the hit from a buyout. I think you might be able to find enough people to help offset some of that cost too.

I will criticize him as a coach, but I'm not one for the personal attacks. It's Mike Jinks. Be a grown up, spell it right. We don't have to call him names in order to get our points across.

Nope, I'm not feeling sorry for Jinks one bit. He knew he wasn't ready for the job when BG called to ruin its' program, he has admitted it several times. He took the money. He knew he lacked experience, he went and hired a bunch of his Texas Tech friends, who also had no experience. More concerning is you had a athletic director, a president, and probably the board of trustees who signed off on this hire. You also have many of the same people involved in this hire, Jans, the arrested swim coach, all still in place. When will someone step back and look at BG athletics as a whole since 2015, and call it what it has mostly been, A mess.
