Does anyone know how the usual Wooster St. Exit will be tomorrow night?
Got a note from Ohio Transportation Dept. indicating it might not be open.
If true , where are we supposed to exit to get to campus?

As of this weekend the exit from I-75 southbound to Wooster was still CLOSED. Not sure when it is expected to reopen.

If you're coming on 75 SB, get off at SR 582 which is the exit north of town (about 5 miles north). Take a right at the offramp then the first left which is Mercer (yes, same street as the ice arena). You'll have to take a right on Newton then a left on north college to get around the airport, but that's how I'd go.

If that's too much country turning for ya you could just take 582 to 25 and take a left to take it into town. Take a left on Poe then right on Mercer.

Thanks Brian, I figured you or someone else local could clarify it. Now we’ll have to let a friend know EARLY tomorrow as she’s bringing up her son and 2 friends for campus tours. They’ll leave early compared to us.

You can also take 75 SB one mile further south and get off on RT 6. Turn left and take the 75 NB ramp. Go back North on 75 1 mile and get off at the Wooster Street exit. People don't think about doing that but that's actually faster than getting off on Route 582 and taking Mercer or Dunbridge.

Dunbridge Road closed?
I took Dunbridge north from Meijer last week leaving the basketball event and there was a "road closed bridge out" sign at Sugar Ridge. They just re-did that bridge by the tracks in Dunbridge, but I cannot think of whatever bridge it may be that was out? Maybe it was a temporary closure though, I don't know. Living in Lucas county now I don't get down there as frequently.

At some point soon they are also going to be closing the entire overpass. I'm not sure if that has happened yet, or when it is scheduled.

The closure in Sugar Ridge is at the railroad, either in Dunbridge or 582 (cannot remember which).

The Wooster overpass was closed overnight for one night last week. I think we are good for a few more weeks/months.

Dunbridge Road is open all of the way from 582 to Wooster St. I took it last night. When you get off at 582, turn left and go into the bump in the road called Dunbridge. Turn right before the tracks on Dunbridge Rd. all of the way to Wooster St.

Why watch online? It’s on ESPNU I think (or ESPN2 but Miami is on that channel tonight) .

The Wooster bridge won’t be completely closed until the spring. They’re maintaining one lane in each direction until then.
