OU at WMU

Post by Class of 61 »

What figured to be a tight game with a lot on the line has turned into a complete rout.

OU up 45-0 early in 3rd Q . WOW! Even WE might have had a shot beating Western the way they’ve played. ( or maybe not) :)

We had a shot at beating Western. Lead the game until 5 minutes left of the 4th, then pissed it away.

Western's QB got hurt early against UT last week. The team tanked immediately in that game. QB is likely out for the season. Western's season is done.
Go ahead and book it. MAC title will be NIU against the winner of OU and Buffalo.

I think the East may actually get one this year.

Hate to say it, but Turdledo still has a flicker of hope. If they beat NIU this week in the Ass Bowl, they will be one game back. Turdledo's last 2 opponents are guaranteed wins (Kent & CMU). NIU has tougher opponents in WMU and Miami and if they happen to drop one, that would hand it to the Rockettes. NIU has the inside track, but not completely locked up yet.
