2019 opponents
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
Re: 2019 opponents
This home schedule feels fairly straight-forward and navigable.
Games like Central Michigan, Akron, and Morgan State should be guarantees. Toledo could be a winnable game, if Loeffler takes it as seriously as he should. Louisiana Tech is typically solid, but that's also potentially a winnable game.
Plus we get Kent State on the road, which should be winnable.
Who knows? I don't want to put the cart before the horse, but with improvements, this team could hover around bowl eligibility next year.

Yeah, way too early for prognostications. Three opponents will have new head coaches (Akron, CMU, Kansas State). Hopefully the home schedule is weighted like 2018 with more home games in September/early October.mbenecke wrote:This home schedule feels fairly straight-forward and navigable.

That is about a perfect a schedule as possible. A home mid-major. Two money games. One very winnable, one a close drive from Bowling Green. UT at home.
Excellent. Now lets have a home Saturday November game.
