Hard to imagine why he was removed from the team...

I’m glad they responded so swiftly. I’m assuming the kid will also be kicked out of school.
No place in the program for that type of talk/behavior. I applaud Loeffler and his staff for taking things like this seriously.

Also glad they responded quickly. It sounds like there was more to the conversation that she shared with the proper people. From the looks of it, he wasn't in the mix for any playing time (not that it should matter when making decisions like this), so not a loss for the team on the field, or in the locker room. If a dude is going to say stuff like that to a woman, online or otherwise, I don't want him on the team.

Sounds like locker room poison. No team needs that kind of attitude.

Is it sinking in yet? Have these guys figured out that they can't just do as they please and expect to stay on scholarship or at the University?

Most have from the beginning, some will eventually catch on too late and a select group will make it a lifestyle. We’ve seen it before and we’ll see it again, God willing, Flipper

As fans, we've been through this several times with coaching changes...but the players on each team are far away from it enough that it's all new, so they have to figure it out on their own. The more we hear/see, the clearer it becomes how truly awful the previous coach was (I don't even want to state his name). It's kind of like having to deal with the aftermath of Huecifer for the Browns. Ironically, the NFL team that has its colors because of that long ago link with BGSU and Paul Brown's training camp.

With the countless numbers of people that have publicly wrecked or in some cases, ruined their lives by what they decided to type on twitter, fb, ect., it still amazes me that anyone wants to be on those platforms and open yourself up to the potential problems. Seems like life would be a lot simpler by just avoiding it altogether.
I hate to see something like this, but if the young man doesn't have any more sense than putting those comments out there, then BG is better off without him.
