Just out of curiousity, I looked into a few of the big recruits for next year's class to see how they are doing this year and have a few updates. Feel free to share any others that you guys know of, as I'm not local and don't see any of the highlights.

Riley Keller has Whitmer off to a good start and seems to be putting up pretty solid stats over the last two weeks. They're 4-0 and he's thrown for 630 yards and 8 TDs with no INTs. He had 315 yards and 5 tds against Perrysburg. I know Melton seems to be the sexy get of the class, but I think Keller is just as good, and possibly more college-ready in his skillset.

Tucker Melton is playing for one of the top programs in all of the southern U.S., so he's facing a different level of competition. One of his WRs is a 4-5 star Clemson commit. So far, his results have been so-so. The team is doing well at 4-1, but he is splitting playing time with a junior who is dual-threat, so that has taken away from his stats. So far he's at 428 yards, 5 TDs with 1 INT. He's got the physical tools, but seems to just throw it up and let his tall receivers bring it down a lot. I think he'll have some growing to do in his first couple of college seasons.

I can't find any specific stats for Terion Stewart other than a game where he put up 200 yards a couple of weeks ago. He seems pretty unstoppable at the college level and I think he's going to be a special back here as long as he has a solid O-line in front of him.

That's all I dug up. Curious if anyone has seen or heard anything else!

Terion Stewart has 560 yards on 49 carries through the first 4 games. He was dinged up at the start of the season but appears to be healthy at this point.

Have we had any kids , especially RBs , from Sandusky since Stew Williams? If this kid is as good as Stew was I’ll take it! :supz:

That is a bummer. But I bet he will be eager to play when he gets here.

Good news. Keller not out for the season.

Got to stop trusting some of the Toledo media types on twitter.

Levi Gazarek with an offer from Maryland.

247 Sports had an article about him getting B1G offers now but was a VIP article.

He's also close to an offer from Michigan State. Hopefully we can hang on. He seems to really like the rest of the class, and especially Loeffler.

Officially offered by MSU. His rating was also upped on 247 and he's now listed as the top commit in our class (clearly because of the big school attention  ). If one of those schools is a better fit for him, I wish him the best, but as of now, I still think he really likes BG, plus his girlfriend goes here according to his twitter.

Michigan State recruits more against the MAC then against Ohio State and then wonders why they rarely beat them. Last year they stole a QB that had been committed to WMU for 2 years less than a week before signing day.

The big question is the MSU offer a real offer? A take offer. It may be a we like you offer, let’s see where we are In December.

They have 200 offers out and 12 to tight ends, with one TE commit. If it’s a take offer i would fully expect to lose him. no shame in de-committing for a power 5 chance. Time will tell.
