MAC championship game

I don't expect this to be a close one. CMU finished strong where Miami finished with a near loss to Akron and a loss to Ball State. And this is the third straight year where the team that finished strongest in the east is not in the title game. The strongest finisher in 2017 and 2018 was Ohio and in 2019 is Buffalo.
CMU by 3+ possessions.

My gut also says CMU wins big here. My focus will be on Oklahoma-Baylor, but I'm keeping an eye on this one.

It’s bad football...the MAC not looking very impressive today. It’s gonna be an ugly bowl season once again.

Just about halftime with CMU up. I've only been able to listen while taking care of all the leaves on my lawn. Yeah I'm old.
Sounds like CMU finally found some rhythm after bad special teams play kept Miami in it. Miami's offense has been a clunker so far.

First time I've seen Miami play this season. (I only listened to our game in Oxford.) Really digging those Miami helmets, with the script Miami and what looks like an American Indian pattern along the top.
I wouldn't want to see us do a script "Bowling Green," but I think Miami's take works very well for a school with such football tradition.

Miami came prepared. Let’s see how 4th quarter goes.

Im sure Miami wishes they could remove the 5-76 beating they took from OSU early.......it will look piss poor in years to come when their championship season is reviewed.

That’s where MAC football is in comparison to real P5 schools. Knocking off the BIG10 bottom feeders is the conference’s huge accomplishment. Watch what happens in Bowl Season....MAC will be lucky to get 1 win.

It's a fluke. One of the worst seasons in a generation for the MAC.

Who wound up with bowl games? I know 6-6 teams get in but was happy to see Kent got in . Ex BG coach is doing a solid rebuild there. Of course he had a retuning QB which helped. FOUR MAC East got bids, correct?

Never mind.. just saw the bowl thread. Anyone know if Toledo had a bid? If I went 3 losses in row at end of season don’t think I’d take the bid anyway.

Based on their AD's comments, they did not get a bid.
