Remember when BG football was good?

Funny thing I watched the “ whole game”, or thought so...BUT .. U Tube shut down within the las 5-6 minutes. Missed IU last TD, but most importantly, missed Roger Lewis TD catch for the win. Though I was at the game I didn’t recall why we didn’t get the final X pt. A kick puts us up 4, so going for 2 wouldn’t make sense. Anyone recall what happened ?

IIRC the call was to go for the XP but it was blocked, or bad snap, or something and IU had a shot at running it back.

Funniest about that was how successful our kicking game had been to that point... 4-4 on FG, including two beyond 40 yds.

I remember becoming very familiar with Detroit and yet it seems like I'd be starting over on the next trip. Time moves quickly

We went from 1992-2013 without winning the MAC. 21 years is a long, long time.
I hope it doesn't take until 2036 to win it again, after 2015.

Thanks, like I said I was there, but couldn’t recall what happened after the TD.. was pretty crazy at the time.

We had so many good times from 2001-2004, and then again from 2012-2015. In fact, if you take the entire 15 year period between 2001 and 2004, BG was a consistent power in the MAC. We only had 3 losing seasons in 15 years.
2001 - 8-3
2002 - 9-3
2003 - 11-3
2004 - 9-3
2005 - 6-5
2006 - 4-8
2007 - 8-4
2008 - 6-6
2009 - 7-6
2010 - 2-10
2011 - 5-7
2012 - 8-4
2013 - 11-3 (mac title)
2014 - 8-6
2015 - 10-4 (mac title)
Aggregate - 112-75 - 60% win pct
And then Mike Jinks showed up and drove the car off the cliff.
