Ball State and Western had a clown show of an ending today. Both the Ball State players and coaches rushed the field during a live play. Western Michigan should have been given the victory just on that alone.

MAC Football is not worth near the amount of resources it costs and the quality of play is declining quite obviously. That game is just another example of the what we’ve come to expect.

Western players and coaches were on the field as well. You can see that toward the end as the WMU player began to run down the sideline.

Reminiscent of the 2005 Alamo Bowl:

Western players were on the field only after Ball State just flooded the field. One of the laterals may have been a forward pass, but at the least they should’ve replayed the down after a 15yd penalty against Ball State.
The conference is just bad football....Buffalo is 5-0 and outside of one game they just ran the ball 50 times down everyone’s throat and no one can tackle. It’ll be interesting if they play in a bowl against a decent opponent what happens.

Yea, not much interest in Mid Am football these days. Not sure where the football portion of the league will be in ten years.
