Not a surprise, but it's still another irreplaceable players - and another allotted number we can't replace - to try and overcome for this program.

Morris is declaring for the NFL. Good luck to him! And it will be fun seeing him play on Sundays and announce his Alma Mater.
And let me get this right. A guy leaves for the NFL. He played four good years for us. He is pursuing his dream. And your first thought is not to be happy for him, but rather to go all Chicken Little?

It’s kind of like the crowd around here that claimed Dino Babers didn’t recruit while he was at BG. Or the head coach who claimed other coaches “used BGSU”. Those folks including the coach spent the weekend celebrating a Babers recruits accomplishments in the NFC Championship game.

Old news. He announced he was declaring for the NFL weeks ago.

Very happy for Q. This is a case where he owes a lot to Loeffler for having him bulk up a bit to make the switch to TE. He recognized that his body type was the ideal athletic TE rather than a slower WR.

Judging from "Draft Twitter," Q had a bit of a rough day today with blocking and separation in coverage. A couple people had him listed as one of the bigger fallers after day 1. Hoping he has a good rest of the week to make up for it.

I am guessing when they watch him catch, he will drop off completely. Not fundamentally “great”, certainly by NFL standards.
