SAD NEWS
For those of us who’ve tailgated together for many years, I have very sad news. Bob DuPont, he of the special BG hat, has passed away. He’d been fighting cancer in the jaw/ ear areas for quite some time. When I talked with his wife ,Helen, a short while ago, she didn’t sound too optimistic as his cancer was deemed inoperable. Still, this is shocking and very sad news .
So Elyria HS has lost a great booster and I’ll miss my talks with him seated behind me at games.

Bob was always a fun guy to be around. Easy going and we always had a good time. His special hat made it on TV many times and I always got a laugh out of that. Bob will be sorely missed and I pray for his family.
