Signing Day Party

Coach Greg Brandon announced that there would be a party held at the Union on signing day. Sounds like the one last year where videos of the recruit's high school highlights were shown.
Also learned that we have 20 verbals before the group that was in this week end. There were some LARGE people in attendance.
The team has elected Mike Thaler and Steve Sanders as two of their Captains for next year.

That sigining day event last year was pretty cool. They showed the recruit video that was also online, but they broke down the film player by player. It was interesting to hear the coaches insights about the kids and what they look for ina recruit.

Any chance the Radio Team might be up there and do a little thing on the recruits and talk with Brandon on the FSRN?

In the Union, 5-7. No mention in the Sentinel of there being a charge.

It was $10 last year. That got you soft drinks and finger food (I like pinkies myself). A cash bar was also available.
They had some give away posters, copies of the video for sale and a silent auction on some game jerseys as well, IIRC.

Sounds like a great event! I am so glad that there seems to be some real cool things happening at our alma mater these days! Just makes me wish this stuf was happening about 10 years ago...DAMN, I'm getting OLD!

Someone posted here a few weeks ago that it's Feb. 15th, though I always thought it was a little earlier than that.
