Saw that coming. No kicker, punter or long snapper returning.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

If he's the guy who told Naranjo to count to two before kicking...he can leave with my blessing

Developed a Lou Groza semifinalist in one year. Not bad.

Well done, coach. Good luck with Dino.

Figured he was only going to be here for one year when he was hired.

Maybe now we will stop pooch kicking and starting every post kick defensive series at close to midfield. Field position matters.

Yeah. We were in the right place at the right time. Seems to me he did a good job.

BGSU almnus Alex Bayer has been hired to replace Ligashesky as Special Teams Coordinator.

Bayer is 31 years old, from Pickerington, and played TE here and in the NFL for 2 seasons.

He comes over after spending 2021 as Valpo’s STC, and after spending some time as an analyst at Wake Forest and Otterbein here in Ohio.

Just gotta pry Matty J away from Kent and get the band back together.

Great hire and welcome home coach Bayer! He will be an awesome recruiter for sure.

Go hire Matt Johnson, Travis Greene, and Ryan Burbrink next! Greene is on staff with Syracuse and Burbrink is coaching high school football in Baltimore these days.

Bayer should have some clout with the players. Alum, MAC champion, former NFL player. He's accomplished a lot.

Having a guy who's experienced that kind of success with the program is a positive. With his size, route running and pass catching ability, I was absolutely sure he was going to have a long and successful pro career. I guess that's why I don't draw a paycheck as a scout.
