Student section and crowd noise

Post by MarkL »

At least listening on my bluetooth headphone, the Doyt was LOUD today. Loudest I've heard since the UT game in 2019, and before that 2015. Despite what a few loudmouths around here say, the students love this team.

Well done!

There were definitely times where the crowd was loud and made an impact. The crowd thinned out in the second half, but those who stayed made a different and we won the game.

Let’s hope they come back for the next home game and then come to the hockey game that night against Michigan State, too.

Tying the game before half was important. Homecoming crowd and honestly a majority of the fans and students leave after the band plays and the court is crowned. People knew we were playing a good opponent and the game was close. Had an impact. Those who stayed were rewarded.

Glad to see it! Not being political in anyway here but after 2 years of on campus masking and us going 0-5 & then 4-8, this was needed so badly
