Hate Miami.

They will beat us by 4 scores.

They have seemed to figure things out on offense minus Gabbert. Their defense might be better than Buffalo's. Agree that I don't see this one particularly close.

Knowing how bizarre this conference can be...it wouldn't shock me a bit if we won Saturday. Don't think we will...Miami's QB will evade our blitzes and run for 100+ yds, but ....you never know

I was going to predict the same possibility. I have been conditioned to not carry the glow of a win, swagger moving forward or the guarantee of a loss (other than a power 5 game). I had a feeling we would lose to Buffalo….. ONLY because the team surveyed who had passports (in the event we made the Bahama bowl).

I actually feel good about Miami…. For no logical reason whatsoever.

Nobody in this MAC is unbeatable and Bowling Green can win any of the games. However, Loeffler has shown it's 75% more likely his teams no show and look incompetent. Now, 9-26 with passports in hand.

SL acted defeated after this one. He’s always spinning things and making excuses. I’d be surprised if there is win left out there.

I think we will come out fired up and motivated for the Miami game and play competitive. I base this on the fact that our coach is an imbecile but the players still have some pride. They'll realize all week they laid an egg and will provide their own motivation to show up this week. That's not uncommon at all for bad football teams.

I don't know (or even think) that it will be enough to win. Our coaching is still garbage. Nobody in this conference is "unbeatable" because the conference is awful. We fit in nicely in a conference of crappy football, but I think as this year plays out we'll discover we're among the crappiest of the crappy football. We don't dominate anybody and you can't recover a bunch of fumbles every week, and thus far that's the only way we've managed a win.

Agree. I think this team may have a couple more wins in it, actually. Neither Central Michigan nor Western Michigan look particularly strong, for example. And the East is the East.

Miami is on par with Buffalo, I don't see this being close. Redhawks have a good defense, really physical up front. Offensively they've employed a decent RPO/read option game with Gabbert being out. BG will struggle on both sides of the ball.

This would not surprise me either, but I expect them to be more competitive than they were on Saturday. Maybe I'll be proven wrong. I'll be camping and paying next to zero attention to it, so I'll read about it here later.

Conventional wisdom would say the team is more engaged but that bar is low enough for my toddler to walk over. The players were all saying the right things today to the media. Regardless of whatever effort shows up this week, the team and coaches have demonstrated that the culture really hasn't changed much this season after all. Kinda knew that was the case when SL kept bringing it up all camp.

ESPN FPI’s % chance that BG wins each of their remaining football games:

vs. Miami - 33.0%
@ CMU - 18.3%
vs. WMU - 41.0%
vs. Kent State - 24.3%
@ Toledo - 8.2%
@ Ohio - 28.8%

Not great.

nope...this has been so frustrating. Fully realized early last year that SL wasn't going to get it done...been difficult to watch this shitshow knowing that things aren't going to improve until a change is made
