Figured I would start a thread so we could have a place to discuss these games as they happen.

UAB looking like they're going to run away with this one already. I think the MAC has a good chance in most of their games this year, but not so much in this one.

I think both of these teams look somewhere between mediocre and dreadful, but Miami is still noticeably worse.

MAC football is in a sad state.

Well, all credit to Miami for coming back and their defense showing up so far. It's a close one heading into the 4th.

Miami came two yards short of a win. Fun second half! I think the story would have been a lot different for them if they had a healthy Gabbert. I imagine they'll be one of the favorites next year.

Gabbert went into the portal and then decided he was coming back to Miami. But I think since he was in the portal, he wasn’t preparing for this game - and because he didn’t prepare, he didn’t play.

Ok, thanks… I’d heard that in and out del.thought he might get an offer from power 5 team… injury could’ve cost that.

EMU was down 13-0 pending an extra point, but after they blocked it and ran it back for 2 points, the game totally swung in their favor.

EMU leads 33-13 in the 3rd quarter. Impressive showing from Creighton’s group.

EMU wins 41-27 against San Jose State. The MAC is on the board.

Toledo plays Liberty tonight in Boca Raton.

Toledo nearly blows a lead but holds on to beat Liberty 21-19.

MAC now 2-1 in bowl games, and about 2 yards in the Bahamas away from 3-0.

Buffalo plays Georgia Southern in the Camellia Bowl at noon today on ESPN. Both teams are 6-6, and GSU is a 5 point favorite.
