New commitment?

Post by Class of 61 »

Interesting article in Canton Repository… on 12/20/22…. Sez Canton McKinley coach has “ great relations “ w/ BG coaches and sez a star WR named Cyncir McNeal committed to BG … Related this signing to Harold Fannin our current TE.
Seems funny this would get this much publicity for it not to happen. Anyone hear or know anything about this?

He could easily be signing in February, especially if he’s not planning to enroll early. But I don’t know anything more, just speculating.

Could also be that he’s a preferred walk-on, and not actually on scholarship. So he wouldn’t have had a signing day. I mean, Harold Fannin didn’t show up in last year’s class. I’m not certain whether he’s on scholarship either.

I'm liking that spelling of the first name. Points for originality

That’s the Aramaic spelling.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Aramaic? Whoa...it's more original than I thought

Guess I got a “scoop” on this… Falcon blog has him now listed as official, along w/ 2-3 others, mostly JUCOs. Like I said when reading the Canton article, it seemed to be done. Now it’s definite. Welcome to BG!

Per his Twitter feed RB Chris Edmonds of Toledo Central Catholic has committed to BGSU. Appears to have been lightly recruited
