Keith and Stewart are game-time decisions. Loeffler said they have other guys banged up, no specifics.

You would have to assume Bazelak and Kam Stewart based on the injuries from the UT game, but I suppose there could be others. Having your starting left tackle and QB beaten up along with your top two RBs doesn't sound like a recipe for success in this game.

Interestingly, Loeffler said in his presser that Demetrius Hardamon is going to be back and playing next season. I would assume he will be getting a medial redshirt or something. That’s huge.

WMU was playing pretty good football until their stinker last week.
I don’t really care about the injury situation in terms of big picture. Either you can beat a decent team or you can’t. Outside of GT the wins are basically bottom of the barrel.
EIU (168 RPI)
GT (65)
UB (125)
Akron (156)
BSU (119)
Kent (161)

WMU is 90 which isn’t good either, but I think they are at least a decent team in this current landscape of the MAC

As a side note...our bowl opponent from last year, NMSU ran their record to 9-3 with a 31-10 upset of Auburn. Jerry Kill...demonstrating what growth looks like

Rainy all day in Kalamazoo….supposed to clear up just before game time. Chilly but wind is mild. BG wants the weather to be as bad as possible. The less passing for both sides, the better for BG. I don’t anticipate this being very entertaining, but unless BG shows up unprepared, they shouldn’t lose. Only thing that makes me a little hesitant is the West is much deeper than the East. Western has played a much tougher conference schedule, I don’t think BG is going to show them anything they haven’t seen.

I think Stewart is the one weapon that could make a difference, if he can play. I know realistically that Loeffler is back next year regardless, but if he loses tonight and they finish 6-6 (or worse, 6-7 after a bowl) I hope they at least seriously consider moving on. Need to finish with a winning record this year.

TommyG - Waldo’s by stadium is crowded but good for shots and beers. Downtown K-Zoo Bars and Breweries are nice. Enjoy the victory!

I agree. Anything worse than 8-5 and this season is a disappointment. There is talent all over and to show no improvement in record would be a fail. Toledo is 10-1 and I feel like BG was the better team. Perhaps I look at it with orange glasses but BG dominated them in the first half and dominated themselves in the second. I know he’s not going anywhere regardless of these next games but let’s not forget his plan and the standard we were supposed to be at in year 5. The talent is there but not the consistency to compete for a conference championship still isn’t. I can never figure out this team’s identity. At certain times the play calling is beautiful and in an instant it’s dreadful.

Stewart missing his 3rd straight game tonight. Brutal to be without our best offensive player again.

Keith and Bazelak appear to be good to go.

Kickoff in 30 minutes.
