Re: 2023 Transfers Update
I won’t do the whole list but here are some highlights:
Tyrone Borden, Arkansas - 15 catches for 109 yards and 3 TDS. Played in every game but was often the 4th or 5th WR option.
Jordan Anderson, UCLA - 16 tackles and 2 FF. Played in every game and started once.
Blaine Spires, Utah St. - was a starter and had a nice year. 8.5 TFL, 5 sacks, 3 FR.
JB Brown, Kansas - had a really nice year in Big 12 play and played more there than I remember him playing here, frankly. Had 54 tackles, 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 2 FF.
Jalen Grant, Purdue - started at least a majority of the games and played in all 12. Purdue didn’t have a great year so couldn’t tell you how he played.
Javonte Kinsey - backup at Campbell. Had 10 catches this year with a TD. I thought he was a big get here when he signed on. Was surprised he never took off.
Jaedyn McKinstry, ULM - appeared on special teams in three games.
I think most of the other transfers ended up in D2 or JUCO. I know a couple ended up and WIU but I don’t recall who.

So really only Brown and Spires improved their individual stock with performances on better teams. Anderson probably was stable and Grant played a lot on a barely a non championship MAC level Purdue team. Broden would have had more of a showcase at BG. the rest -Bye Bye Felecia

Re: 2023 Transfers Update
Does anyone know what happened to Hunter Deyo? He transferred in from Iowa State (was expected to compete for the #1 center spot) and he’s no longer on the roster now either.

Re: 2023 Transfers Update
I would expect some of our better underclassmen to be gone. They're not in the portal yet, but they'll be there. Tampering is in full effect already. .Many are going through the HS coach to contact the student athletes. By the time they reach the portal all the leg work has already been completed.

Re: 2023 Transfers Update
DB Jordan Jackson is in the portal. Didn’t hear much about him this year, but he made 10 tackles and had a solid game against Buffalo. He transferred in from Stony Brook last year.
