Kicked off this morning with Ohio vs. Georgia Southern in the Myrtle Beach Bowl.

Ohio looking dominant so far. Going into halftime up 20-0.

Miami loses to App St 13-9 in a very, very sloppy game.

Kicked off this morning with Ohio vs. Georgia Southern in the Myrtle Beach Bowl.

Ohio looking dominant so far. Going into halftime up 20-0.

Ohio rolls out there today with their 3rd string QB as the starter who has hardly played and a true frosh RB who goes out there and scores FIVE touchdowns as OU wins a MAC-record 5th straight bowl and puts the wraps on back-to-back 10-win seasons. Ohio has become the model of consistency in this league. Their starting QB, top two RB’s, top two WR’s and their best defensive player were all missing today and it didn’t matter one bit. That is why they are always at the top of the MAC year in, year out. They just reload and run in back again with no excuses.

Miami was dealt a crazy tough game with that weather. The RedHawks were also down to their 3rd string QB but they didn’t have the run element that Ohio’s did and could never get untracked in that monsoon they played in. That was a miserable game to play in and it made for a horrible atmosphere.

Reminiscent of the 11/15/06 game with Miami, just without the cold to go along with the rain and slop. Most miserable weather game I have ever sat through.
