Falcons travel to (un)Happy Valley this week for a money game against the Nittany Lions. Penn State made easy work of West Virginia 34-12 and looked every bit deserved of their #8 ranking. They have some excellent athletes on offense (Singleton, Allar, Wallace) and a swarm to the ball defense.
Loeffler will be disclosing injuries today. The team is thin at WR and hopefully a body or two can come return before conference play begins.
Don't expect this game to be close whatsoever but believe it will be a good test against a deep team.

I think BG hangs in there for 2 1/2 quarters. The heat will not be a factor. I think BG covers
Coach Loeffler didn't directly answer a question during the post game about getting players back. He had a cryptic answer about a certain player. He said he needed to speak to his family first.

Play the best we can and who knows what can happen? Penn State looked great at WVU. A big challenge ahead...
My heart says 24-23 BG...my brain says Penn State wins 42-21.
GO BG

Weather will be rainy and cool which probably helps us. It's been a couple of years since penn st lost a regular season game outside of Ohio st and Michigan. Realistic prediction we lose 35-7 and struggle against their defense in the rain. Homer prediction we win 28-24

Did coach ever discuss who the season ending injuries are?

In watching the presser this week, it never came up - he didn’t make a statement about it, and no reporter in attendance asked about it. Personally, I’m wondering if a statement was made before the cameras were on that they wouldn’t be addressing it, potentially because guys want to announce it for themselves. But that’s totally speculation. Definitely feels weird that it didn’t come up at all, though. Guess we’ll see.

I don't understand the way SL has handled and dealt with this. Right out of the gate he started off his preseason presser announcing these injuries, but then wouldn't address them. I understand his reasoning why (as he explained), but then he says he's going to address them in a few days, and then doesn't again. Then he goes silent with it. I agree, it does feel weird. It's also rather confusing how he's handled this, especially now with the policy in place regarding providing info on injured players. This was a very odd way to go about it. He comes right out like, "I have a secret, but I can't tell you right now, I'll tell you in a few days" and then doesn't say anything more. Of course some of us are now going to be anxious to hear what he has to say, he was the one who dangled this carrot. Anyway, I'm still guessing it has to do with Hardamon, Garcia and possibly Orth.

This injury news or lack thereof has been strange. Not sure why it wasn’t asked in the press conference.
Anyway, I believe BG will keep things reasonable this week 38 - 20.
I actually think they are going to beat Texas A&M, assuming good health in three weeks.

Stewart is questionable. Same group who missed last week is out this week.

Stewart in uniform but not taking first-team reps according to Michael Burrell from the Blade.

BG marched straight down the field and scored on their first drive. That was impressive.
7-0 Falcons.

Can't ask for a better opening drive than that.
