So, who do you think would be our starting QB this year? What will be our offensive identity?
I can see us running an up-tempo pro-style offense. I don’t know who fits that profile, and honestly most positions are probably up for grabs since coach will not have had time to evaluate the talent prior to spring ball.

Coach said fast and physical. I would bet with uncertainty at QB, we’re going to run the ball more than in recent years. Lots to get excited about.

I think if Anderson makes improvements in his throwing accuracy, he'll be QB1. His mobility and size could really fit into the fast-paced offense he alluded to. If he hasn't improved all that much, I think it'll be an open competition this summer.

Tennesse State has a 3star former Memphis recruit who seemed next up. He might find his way over.footballguy51 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 3:30 pm So, who do you think would be our starting QB this year? What will be our offensive identity?

I would bet there is a competition, I loved Kitna's tape. Anderson-Kitna-Carter-Stanford kid battle?

I’d imagine Kitna isn’t for long here, since he only came here for Loeffler in the first place.

He seemed pretty stoked on the hire on social media. His dad never played with George but they were in the league at the same time, so there's probably good familiarity there.
