Cool shirt. $50 for a T shirt is a bit much. I see they are getting $7 back, but still….

I have to imagine it's George Carlson, his owner.
I think the Pudge stuff is obviously very cheesy and dumb, but that's also the reputation of MAC football nationally so I think it's smart to lean into it.

Hopefully George Carlson, it's his cat after all.

Great article today from Jake Trotter @ ESPN
This is the good stuff about Pudge. Publicity for BG, but also a chance for a MAC long snapper to tell his story. Yeah, I don't even like cats, but still freaking awesome all around... Love George's comment about Pudge bringing him joy and just happy to see him spread that joy to the entire BG community.

I absolutely love this kind of organic, fun engagement ...it's pretty rare these days. Audiences are so fragmented and there's so much noise...it's hard to get a lot of attention.
My wife bought me the original Pudge shirt as a birthday present...I'm all in on the other one. I can add them to my collection of BG gear that goes back decades.

Never knew the backstory, it's both heartbreaking and uplifting. What a great article.

100% Kudos to Jake for getting the story out there. Been following Jake for years (He was at OU, then went to Browns beat after Baker draft, then back to ESPN national). Good writer, great story.
