Hey, everybody should know who Swiper is. :D

'Course, my 4-year-old niece's dad thought his personal low was when he was playing computer games with his friends (other young dads) and one of them said, "Sniper, no sniping! Sniper, no sniping! Sniper, no sniping!" (Those not familiar with Swiper's role, have no fear, and just trust me that the incident was amusing.)

--Anyway. That article makes me feel a little sorry for the I-AA schools... but not sorry enough to abstain from gloating.

I still think it's Akron's answer to Rocky the Rocket...

I thought it was Zippy..., and what is the whole Zips mascot being a Kangaroo thing anyway? To me Zips implies the sound the fly on my pants makes. So instead of needing a kangaroo, just have some guy go out there with his pants and zip his fly up and down the whole time. Much better mascot in my mind.

Answer.

(In my defense, I do have five nieces and nephews under the age of five.)

This just means that Flipper is a 'super-cool explorador'.

"Come on, Vamonos
Everybody let's go.
Come on let's get to it,
I know that we can do it. . ."

I think Dora's mom is 'caliente'!

Mascot must also be a big hit with the kids. Sounds a little like Michael Jackson.
