21. Bowling Green Falcons
Why: Omar Jacobs might be the top returning quarterback in the country, non-Matt Leinart Division. Coach Gregg Brandon deserves to see his name on future hot lists.
Why not: Some key senior personnel on both sides of the ball must be replaced.

We better be reviewing the coaching ranks for potential replacements for GB.
I hope if / when Krebs leaves it does not compromise replacing Brandon if / when he leaves, too.
Hopefully the Admin is smart enough to begin a 'Long List' of candidates for each position.
I've got a hunch we are going to be needing them and we should not be caught with 'feathers' down.
We need to play this smart and be totally prepared to move in new capable pepole when moves begin to take place.
There is no reason we should be surprised, shocked, or panicked.
We need to make this an opportunity to improve our situation.
GO FALCONS !!

I addressed this before and you're spot on. I would say, however, that a "long list" isn't necessary, just a "good" list.

As far as possible candidates are concerned re: the "possible" replacement of Krebs, allow me to mention one name, that being Tom Hof. Current assistant AD at TOSU, greatly responsible for fund-raising for the Schot, great history of work with major D1 programs (Ill ST, KU, and current) and most importantly.....grew up in BG and bleeds orange!!!! (As a matter of fact....his dad....Jim has a great history at BG as well). Keep this name in mind, Hofie would do a great job at his alma mater.
Ps. hey Hofie, if you happen to read this, I'll keep all of our stories about "partying 105" to myself.

And yes, I AM a lifeguard!!

Last year we opened against the number 2 team in the country and according to Forde we would be #21 playing #3 to kick off '05, whatamatchup!
On a more serious note, I hope we start getting our new logo (real falconhead) used with the media. Sorry traditionalists, but when you look at the current in use on espn it looks weak.

That would be pretty cool if Hof got the job actually, he's a great guy, and would do a great job.
Hey BC, if you knew Hof, then you might have known my dad actually, he was roomates with Hoffer when they went here, does the name "Marty" ring a bell?

i woudlnt get too worried about brandon leaving in the near future....he did turn down UNLV for quadruple the money he is getting at BG....at least we know he is true to the school unlike urban liar and it looks like if he would leave he is waitin for a really big school to come callin or he is waiting until he thinks its time to go
