According to someone on miamihawktalk, they said that channel 5 out of Cleveland is carrying the BG game, take it for what it's worth.

Gosh, I hope that's correct.

WEWS-TV still lists Miami-Michigan:

Just emailed [email protected] again. Leting them know there is a strong interest in seeing BG couldn't hurt.

The Lorain Journal's TV Guide booklet , from todays's paper, has the game on the Cleveland ABC station which is channel 5.

I just checked in the DirecTV schedule and they have Miami @ Michigan listed in the noon slot for 5. Channel 43 is picking up the OSU game.

Really??? If I can get it free on Ch 5 here in Akron instead of the ESPN pay per view, that would be outstanding!!

This may not help any of you in cleveland, but if you have any friends a little west, like in the sandusky area, TV Guide online says that WTVG 13 out of Toledo is carrying the game. I have Time Warner Cable here in Norwalk and it will be on here. I'm certain sandusky cable carries channel 13, too. TV Guide says channel 5 will have Michigan-Miami. Of course who knows what is accurate until game day.

I'd invite you all over but I'll be out of town - watching the game of course!

You could always drive up to BG - I'm sure it'll be on at all the sports places; bw-3, frickers, ziggy's etc.

Nevermind! The TV Guide must be wrong. This from the WTVG 13 website:

"BG vs. Oklahoma on Sept. 5-- Many people have contacted us about why we are not showing this game. We contracted for a package of Ohio State games earlier this year so when ABC, in a late decision to even televise this game, offered us the BG game, we were already committed to the OSU one. Fortunately, the local Fox channel will be showing the BG game live."
