Scary thought from CollegeFootballNews.com

"Throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks: Five ridiculous calls that aren’t all that far-fetched … 1) There will be only one unbeaten team at the end of the regular season and at least four teams will bitch and moan that they should be number two. 2) Steve Spurrier will be the head coach at Texas next year at this time. 3) Someone will try and challenge the NFL underclassmen rule next year, and this time the players will win. 4) Between Utah’s Urban Meyer and Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz, one will be the Notre Dame head coach some time in the next two years and one will be the head coach of the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins or Cleveland Browns. 5) The Chargers, Dolphins and/or Browns will offer LSU’s Nick Saban (new contract and all) anything he wants. This time the pro team won’t make the low-ball mistake the Chicago Bears did."

All Browns fans need to check #4 and #5. Could you imagine Urban Meyer coaching the Browns! :finga: :axe: Or former UT coach Saban? :vom: :butthead: If either of those what happen, I would be forced to light myself on fire.

I firmly believe Urban Meyer will be the next Coach at Notre Dame and will lead them back to national prominance.

I will agree as long as ND gets a good offensive coordinator to take the program when he leaves after a year or two :D The thought of him coaching the Browns is a shot in the heart though. Maybe he would make a push to get Harris and Magner there though and the Browns would make the playoffs! My opinion of him would change quickly.

I don't see Urban as one of the NFL guys. His system is great for college, but I'm not sure if his style really suits the NFL. I could be wrong, but I see him as someone who would be best served at the college ranks.

I think the Smart money would be on Urban going to Our Lady rather than into the NFL ranks.
