Hi Everyone

I just popped onto the site tonight because I had a few free minutes. I have to say, I miss you all! It is finally sinking in that football is over. For the past fifteen years, I have been at football games every weekend, for many years, practices during the week, and for the last few years nerves on edge from August through December. I know many of you have devoted far more years to this, but to me it is the end of a tradition. I can't say that I will miss it, but I will miss all of you!
You are the some of the best people I have ever known. I consider myself lucky to have been able to share the past few seasons with you and your families. You made my BGSU experience so much richer and memorable. Thank you!
Since the end of the season, I have been meaning to stop by and thank all of you for your friendship and support, but I just couldn't find the words.Part of me is thankful that football is over, but another part feels a huge void-even though I have yet to reach another season. I know, stop babbling.
Well, goodbye everyone. Please know that you will always have a special place in my memory. You would probably be surprised at how often I think of you; we have so much Falcon Football stuff around the house since Andrew moved to New York City for his internship and out of his apartment in BG that I pretty much think of you on a daily basis! No, I am not obsessing over times past, but every time I turn around I see a helmet, a jersey, a poster, a t-shirt, a warm-up suit, or some other piece of memorabilia that reminds me of all of you and the times we shared.
A couple parents decided to come up to next year's homecoming game. I look forward to seeing you then.
Go Falcons!

It's like the Hotel California (it's a song by a band called the Eagles for those of you born after 1977) You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
Glad to hear you're all doing well!!!

Just because Andrew is done playing here, doesn't mean you BOTH shouldn't come back often. Not only do we need you, it might even help you out to return to BG for a few games a year (minimum) .
You migth ask the "Stacy's" (Anthony's parents) how nice it is to come back.
They were both at the basketball game yesterday, and it looked like a "hug fest" whereever they went. BG people don't forget the good people who's son's and daughter's have done great things at the University. I can promise you that you fall in that same category.

God bless you and your family, Hartmom. You will always be welcome any time you are able to come back for a visit. We will never forget the contributions you and your son made to our fine institution.

Laura,
"Homecoming"? That's all? Thought for sure we'd see you at the home opener, if not Wisconsin game.....Had a great chance to talk to Andrew on the field after the GMAC Bowl...was sorry you weren't able to make it...though our adventures getting home were storybook.
Seriously, I hope you'll consider getting back to BG as much as possible...YOU are a big part of the AZZ group and you know you'll have free food as long as you live.

Laura: You MUST come back for more than the homecoming game! It's not like you have to FLY to get here, just come over with Freak every game!!!

I am sure he would love to have you along! And it's not like HE'S going to miss any home games!!! You absolutely MUST come to the home opener, too...along with the OTHER home games. It just won't be the same without you!!!!!! You will be DEARLY missed if you don't come!!!!

Laura,
You are the best! I know we'll see you at the Doyt in the future. Remember, BG is back in the East so we'll be having road games at Kent and Akron as well.
You will ALWAYS be a Falcon...and I am thrilled Andrew was able to finish his career with such positive memories!! Thanks again for the coat!

One Falcon coat is never enough.
I KNOW we'll see you at games....I'll save a grilled brat and a cold beer for ya every game.
Take care and God bless you and Andrew...
GO FALCONS!!
BTW, tell Cindy and Chris Glantzis to come back to a game!!!!

Rent the movie "Animal House" and pay very close attention to John Belushi's pep-talk.
