According to recent posts, today is Jr Day. A lot of prospective recruits will be on campus along with a couple of thousand or so other prospective students.
Maybe someone can give us information about the recruiting prospects (numbers? names? etc.)
transfer2BGSU seems to have a good handle on this sort of thing.

The school can't release any names, but if someone were to notice a name or two on a a letter jacket as the kids tour the campus, they could certainly share that information here.

Oops...
I was sitting in Overman hall when a highschooler and his dad walked by, talking to one of the faculty. The two of them were expressing some concern about the kid's desire to be a physics major
and play football, and the faculty member replied with cautious/encouraging BS, which really amounted to nothing. From what I saw and heard, I remember that he played defensive tackle... and that he was a darn big kid!
But I didn't see a letter jacket. Or maybe I just didn't notice one... I was only listening with half an ear, as I was trying to finish my chem homework in the fifteen minutes before class...

Two of the guys from my tour went to the "Junior Day" presentation. One was from Wheelersburg and the other from Cincinnati, both had good size. Another prospective student-athlete I noticed was from St. Henry and if I recognized his father correctly, has a brother that is a back-up QB at tOSU. There were also four very decently sized individuals walking around in "Timkin Football" lettermen jackets with possibly a coach from the same school.

The kid from st henry your thinking about is Toby Boeckman who is the brother of Todd Boeckman, a backup QB at OSU. Toby is about 6'6 215 Defensive end. His dad is Tim Boeckman who used to coach for St Henry when they were a powerhouse team in the 90's

I would only add that in my work on campus today, I saw many, many juniors who obviously played football and had size. In addition to the ones mentioned, I saw several Akron area players. As a matter of fact, it seemed like the vast majority of the guys in my field of vision were Cleveland/NE Ohio students. Tougher to spot the skill guys though.
The assistant football coaches were all over campus today with recruiting coordinator Rothenbuhler particularly visible.
Go Falcons!

Growing up in NW Ohio with Vince Koza and channel 35 out of Lima, I am well aware of the tradition of St. Henry football and Coach Boeckman.

Do you realize Vince Koza is STILL doing the sports at WLIO?

Absolutely Warthog, he's "must-see" TV and an absolute fixture on a set in my parents house every Friday night! What a goofball, but my dad loves him!

I only see him when I am at my parents as well. For some reason they like to watch those amateurs with horrific graphics doing the news and sports.
