Hi folks,

I just received an email from BGSU99 (Ed). He informed me that Michelle's father (BGSU96) passed away a few weeks ago & that they have been away from AZZ for some time.

He wasn't sure what forum to post, so I told him I would let their extended BG family know of their loss.

Michelle, and Ed,

Sorry to hear about your loss... we thought we'd lost my dad a couple of weeks ago also...but he's still in the hospital...and we hope to get him into a nursing home that does a lot of physical therapy to regain his strength to hopefully return home.

It's never easy to go through this... know that my thoughts are with you.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It was quite a shock but it gets a little easier everyday. We are heading to the women's games tomorrow and Saturday, it will be nice being back in AA again.

My thoughts are with you!

Michelle beat me to posting here, but thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers! We plan on getting on with our lives this week, that's for sure! We're heading to both women's games this week and we just purchased some tickets online for the 3/4 hockey matchup with the weasels! We had to see Jordan and the guys again before the season ends. Actually the season won't be over then because the Falcon icers will hopefully secure home ice for the opening round. We had tickets for the OSU-BGSU Hockey Game on Friday the 11th, but didn't make it due to the passing of Michelle's father. As Michelle said, the hurt is subsiding each day. We are really looking forward to getting up to campus this week and cheering on the Falcon women's basketball team! Since this is a football forum, I have to say if any of you haven't purchased or seen the GMAC Bowl DVD, email Mitch and get a copy. It is fabulous ... very well done, Mitch! I have watched that thing three or four times already! I am already stoked for the Spring Game and the upcoming season! GO FALCONS!
