Why I hate Toledo.

Things have been a little slow in this forum being that it is the offseason and everything so I thought I try to bring back a little life. The question plain and simple, Why I hate Toledo.

1. IT'S TOLEDO.
2. Born and raised to hate them.
3. I have to go to school with a bunch of their stupid fans.
4. That god-awful game (second half) this past season. Payback is going to be a Bitch.

I guess it is hard to put in words but I just hate them.

It is 10:25, and toledo still sucks!!!!!

I was born and raised a Michigan fan, so the following were slightly strange when I started here at BG, but are no longer:

1) a hatred of blue and yellow
2) refering negativly to "that team up north"

However, I see that is now 10:29 and that team up north in the blue and yellow STILL sucks!

5. Their pretentious-looking campus.
6. Their insistence on desperately clutching to the old meaningless STD fallacy.
7. Couldn't even make the MAC look good in postseason this year.
8. My two older sisters both went there so I get to deal with "Go UT" teasing at home. (Luckily my younger brother and I made the correct orange-and-brown choice.)
9. Nonsensical tree jokes. *looks out dorm window, sees trees*
10. And as a bandie, I have to add that the RMB is humiliatingly awful.

I don't know about "pretentious", but when we were tailgating, I couldn't help but think the building at the head of the lot was either a correctional facility or an abandoned Kohl's....

On second thought, maybe it was....

What, thats not true any more. When I was there, it was most bar per ft of main street, highest STD rates, and largest collection of fruitflies.

Last I checked, the fruitflies are gone too!

Never heard of the fruit flies, but it's most pizza per capita too, isn't it? :)

Lord, how I hate the ridiculous STD farce-of-a-poll thing though....

I had a similar feeling. I felt like I was tailgating at Value City.

I don't know, I always thought that the STD thin showed it wouldn't take too much work to bring home a date anygiven saturday night. Sort of a positive reflection on the BG social scene.

Of course, the broken drivers side mirror on my dad's friend's car made it feel more like the correctional facility part....

Maybe a positive reflection on the male half. Oops, I mean male third.

Meh, just bugs me that the findings got so widespread from a poll that was incorrectly run on all sides-- what with only a few schools responding, and BG responding with only the percentage of people who were actually tested rather than of the entire student body. Hey, at least it gives me one more reason to hate UT! lol

Hmmm... unless you're alot older than I thought you were....

That's shitty, though. But it does explain that it wasn't quite the accident .001% of my mind wanted to think it might have been. Bastages!!!

Haha, no I'm only 25. I should have been more specific. My bad. It didn't even happen there. It happened when my car was parked in BG and I was at Downtown. I was parked in a really good spot and I think someone decided to take out their frustrations on my mirror. Still as you say. Bastages! It really turned out to be a pain in the ass because the electronic part to it is broken too.

That building is Rocket Hall now, but it used to be known as SWAC (South West Academic Center). It actually was a shopping strip originally and it used to really look like one when it was SWAC. When it was redubbed, they put up the lame stone facade.
