Just saw on Sportscenter, that the Browns traded Holcomb to, I thik the Bills. (It's still early for me. )

As I write this, Josh is at least # 2. Sounds like he's got a great shot. I wish him the best!!!!!

lol I just posted this, so I'll give you ESPN's spin on it. Josh could be #1, or at least get some playing time.

Josh has a great shot to make the roster. A 50/50 shot. The coach and GM who drafted Luke McCown is gone and the one who drafted him is in place. But the Browns are not going to stand pat. I would gamble that Trent Dilfer is the browns starter this year with a backup like Charlie Frye from Akron or Jason Campbell. then McCown or Harris number 3. Harris would be wise to go to Europe as soon as he can to log some extra time behind center.

We all need to relax about Josh being the Browns starter - he was only on the team for a couple weeks, and he didn't even make the Ravens roster.

I think Josh could eventually be an NFL talent - but I think he's got some years of learning and growing to do.

I can't help but wonder, though, if he would get in an NFL lineup faster if he would go the way of Randel El and try another position.

As much as this would help his football career, he has a child on the way and that is certainly more important than getting snaps in NFL Europe.

One thing the US has that Europe also has is doctors. (The baby may also get dual citizenship which would be very cool.)

One thing that the Europe has that the US does not for Josh is snaps in game time situations.

All parents make sacrifices for their children. But this is as critical of a time in his football career as any. He will likely at a chance to play in TC again this year. But if he does not make the Browns it would be great for his career and his potential to hook on with another team if he had playing experience and he could be easily scouted by all 31 other teams.

As it is now I predict he does not make a team this year. Does not make a practice squad with the class of incoming rookies taking up alot of those spots and then goes to europe next off season in a last ditch effort to make the NFL a career for him.

First of all, who freakin cares about whether Josh Harris' kid has duel citizenship? I mean, I know we all keep track of BG like a full time job but seriously. Second, the Bills make we wanna shout....hey yea hey yea....let's go Buffalo.

Randel El has incredible speed, something Josh lacks, which allows him to play receiver and return kicks, etc.

If Josh is going to make it in the NFL, he's going to do it as a QB.
