Athletic Director Paul Krebs said Bowling Green is still working to be able to show the game on the new scoreboard at Perry Stadium.

STAY TUNED!

That's great, but once again, last-minute decisions aren't the best for anyone that lives outside of 10 miles of BG. I hope they can show it n the scoreboard for the students and everyone in BG who wants to go, but I've been living lunder the assumption that it would NOT be shown and have made other arrangements for watching the game.

On my way home yesterday I noticed that they were testing the video board. Of course, I was driving on I-75 so I couldn't really LOOK to see what was going on, but from the few glances I got it looked like they were just flashing up some different colors. It was cool to see it working, though.

I agree Grant. It is too late now to announce that the game will be shown on the new video board. Everyone has made plans for where to go to watch the game as it is only two days away now. If they would have announced a week or two ago, people could have planned to go there, tailgate, the whole works. Wonder how many people will show up even if they do show it? :?

That's my thinking too. They can show it, but how many people will be there? Most fans have other plans. Personally, I think that when it was announced to air on local television they should've just nixed the whole concept. No way I'll go and sit in the stands (possibly paying admission) to watch the game, when I can go to BW3, Jed's, Downtown, etc, etc, to watch for free & drink beer to boot! I can also watch the OSU & UM games at the same time at a bar.

I'm sorry, but the only way it would've been worthwhile to show the game on the video board was if that was the only option. Now there are better places to watch the game, so why bother?

Maybe if it were a night game.... with beer, fireworks and beer. I'd rather not try to watch a stadium video board during the day. The picture will probably be less than ideal.
