Hey Falcons

Post by CaliSooner »

Ready for a beating this weekend? Its time for the big boys to expose the mid major pretenders again! You should know that we're not like Ohio State, we don't rely on 2 point last second wins. We lay a beat down on most teams. Good luck in your conferance after we send you packing.

How sad after all the class OU fans have shown through the week that we get this type of post.

Uh, OU isn't Purdue.

Post by CaliSooner »

OU has won 48 games and an NC in the last 4 years. We've never won less than 11 in a season in this time. Purdue has only won 30 and has never won more than 9 in the last four seasons. You beat Purdue by 1 point.

The NCAA doesn't sanction a Division I-A championship.

Sorry.

All these kinds of posts do is make the crow more bitter when you're forced to eat it.

We weren't paying attention to your drivel on the other threads, so you might as well start your own to get noticed.

Isn't it almost dad's turn to use the computer? Besides, it's just about time for Lizzie McGuire on TV.

The vast majority of Sooner fans respect and look forward to a close game. Don't let a few over zealous rabid Sooner fans give you the wrong impression. Sooners have total respect for the fighting Falcons!
Sooner or later its the SOONERS!!

1. Don't Oklahoma fans have their own message board? I'm pretty sure no one from this board went to any of theirs and said anything.

2. You mean to tell me that he/she went through all the registration and stuff just to do that?? Pathetic.

3. Just in case any Oklahoma fans are still unclear, we are NOT in awe. Half the roster has been to Northwestern, Missouri, Kansas, Purdue, and Ohio State. It's a veteran team that knows the drill and has been in those types of situations before. The Falcons are going to Norman to compete, not to just merely particpate.

Go ask the rest of the country who was the national champion in 1950, 1955, 1956, 1974, 1975, 1985 and 2000. No one cares what the NCAA says. You sure as hell wouldn't complain if you ever got to have on of those non-existent NC's!!!!!!! Don't hold your breath dude!

We know enough around here to talk about our 1959 national title as the mythical national championship.

Funny you should mention that.

UPI (the coaches) thought Southern California was better in 1974, as did the Football Writers Association of America and the National Football Foundation/College Football Hall of Fame

Like I said: "Mythical." Embrace the word.
