Hello from the Blue

I've seen some of your fans posting on our board, so I thought I would come over and tell how excited we are about playing you this year.
It's nice to hear from some fellow Non-BCS over-achievers. I have to tell you this is the game that had me worried this year. Not that I think we will definitely beat UG or OS or Fresno, but this one is on the BLUE. We have that home-game winning streak on the line (we have not lost a home game since September of 2001). And Bowling Green is one tough team. I just hope we don't overlook you guys after playing with the big boys on the road. It happens to the best of teams. It should be a good one and I hope a bunch of you make it here and soak in the sights and suds in Idaho.
If your lucky it might still be warm enough to float the Boise River. Don't forget to look into that while you are here if you make the trip. Your QB is a stud and it should be a great game. What do you guys think? Any worries?

Oh, yeah, we have big worries! But we're looking forward to the challenge. Its a great test for our team. We have a hard time getting IA teams to our place, so the series with you is perfect. The success you've had and the success we've had will make it a good one.

We have only beaten one team on the road who finished with a winning record in the last four years, and we need to do that to win championships. Your road game is a chance to prove to ourselves we can do it.

Rest assured, though. The Falcons (and fans) respect your program a great deal and would consider a win at your place to be a major accomplishment.

Thanks for stopping by. We look forward to talking football with you.

I know the GMAC Bowl was a neutral site, but the game was on the road and Memphis did have a winning record. The way the crowd for Memphis turned out, it might as well have been a home game for them, though they were remarkably quiet for much of the game, particularly the first few drives and the second half. ;)

Hopefully we can use that as a spring board to getting the job done in other teams houses. These two OOC road games this year will be just as good as Purdue was when we played them and it will take pulling out every stop to pull of these wins, but we showed we could do it. Hopefully it won't take another 4th down Chuck to Chuck though!

Well if you can win on the Blue it will be a major accomplishment. The last 26 teams to try have failed.
But your team does have the weapons.
