The Falcon Bus (these guys are good)

I was sittin here at work dreamin of football season, then my mind drifted into thinking about tailgaiting. Then it dawned on me that earlier last football season a buddy of mine took me over to his friend's tailgating bus. Boy was I amazed. They stripped out the seats for the most part, put in 2-3 pieces of furniture, added a TV with a DVD player, then flipped around a few of the bus seats so they would face each other with a table in the middle. It was amazing. I can't remember how much it cost them exactly, but I remember it being a lot cheaper than I expected it to be.

That would be so much fun to have, not only at home games but also at away games as well. Not to mention a lot of other sports other than football (hockey, basketball, etc).
We oughta get a hold of these guys and give us all the details on how they made it happen.

Have you all seen these guys around at all?

Anyway, enough of me yappin, check it out for yourself

Seems to me that I recall a bus pulling into our area prior to UT game...didn't notice the BG stuff on the side at the time, so didn't pay radical attention to it at the time....but this topic of doing an AZZ bus has been raised before....be a neat "project" for all of us to be a part of...

To (try to) answer golfers question...I think the reason it's not orange and brown is because of cost. To paint it orange and brown would be a lot of money, and these guys probably didn't want to put that much money into just the paint job at this point and time. Also, there just aren't that many places that will paint a bus, normally because they don't have the right equipment/space for it. If there's another reason why, then correct me on that. But I do know that it is rather expensive to paint something as big as a bus.

Automotive work is my hobby/other life. I do body work, including painting. If these guys would buy the paint and primer and had a big enough place to work on it, I would paint it for free. I'm dead serious.
We're talking maybe a couple hundred in paint and supplies at most.
I would do it just to see this thing roll into the tailgate area

These guys tailgate right next to us.

I was on the bus before the WMU game, and I remember saying that they paid $600 for it. One of the guys found it in AutoTrader, and has subsequently put alot of money into it. (Not dressing it up, per se, but automotive maintenance.)

it definately looks like it used to be a junker so i'm not surprised by the fact that they put a lot of money into maintenance for it. But, it's nice to see an old junker bus being put to great use!!
