Big Ten Commisioner contradicts self

Well this isn't directly related to football, but it corresponds to the overall hatred everyone has of the BCS. According to the Big Ten Commisioner, in the article I read in the BG News today: here
"I have a lot of respect for basketball in the East Coast," said Delany, an East Coast native. "I just don't think there's two levels: A level in the East and a level everywhere else."
Funny he should say that about basketball, but when it comes to football, he has no problem saying there are two levels, BCS and Mid Majors, where the Mid Major teams are MUCH closer in skill level than in basketball. This kind of stuff sickens me, and I think it really shows the arrogance of the BCS in general.
