Good to see the board is back up and running.
We had a blast in Largo, FL, and even made a trip to Gainesville to visit my aunt and check out the Swamp....awesome stadium. We were about to leave the UF campus when my dad saw a spring practice going on. Yep, you guessed it. Urban was out on the field running drills. Chris Leak looks like he is gonna run up some impressive numbers with the offense Meyer brought in. The town is totally jazzed about Meyer and the Gators. I waited as long as I could to see if practice would end and I could get a pic wiht Meyer. Hey, I wore a BG Football Shirt for just the situation.

Well, no pic with Meyer but I took a few pics of the practice session that I'll bring to the spring game.

Anyway, I would say it's great to be back but it isn't. I miss the palm trees and 85 degree temps already! But all good things must come to an end. Besides, the sooner we got back, the sooner the spring game gets here.

Rock on Falcon Nation!

Welcome back, Michael!!! Weather here has turned fairly nice since you left, but I heard possible 2-5" of snow could be around tomorrow....are you a jinx or what? Let me know what your tentative plans are for Spring game...maybe we can do the journey together. 8)

(Had to put on the shades, to make you feel "at home")

Michael,

Glad to hear you had a fun trip to Florida...seeing Urbie run a practice was something special I'm sure.

We're leaving for the Florida Keys this Sunday and won't return until May 5 or 6. This means we'll miss the spring game which I really enjoyed last year. Trust that you and '61 will have your usual good time. Next BG football action for me will be in Madison on Sept. 3. Already have motel reservations.

Den,
We'll probably go up the night before (4/15) and stay in Huron like the last couple years. We can meet at that same hotel and drive up if ya want.

I couldn't believe the freakin snow this weekend...put a hurtin on my tan.

Mike,
That sounds good to me...but let me know for sure...only possible problem is that my dad is back in the hospital (from the nursing home this time) and I'll need to have one of my siblings 'cover' for me on helping him during meal hours... I'll talk to my sister ASAP so I'll know my status, but let me know for sure if you're gonna do the overnite bit again.
