Obviously, this town is Buck wild. But the Dispatch did devote two pages to the MAC today in its college football preview, which included stories on each Ohio MAC team by Mark Znidar.

Did you know Newson would love to be a professional fisherman after college? I didn't either. Apparently, he spent quite a bit of his childhood trolling for bass in LaGrange, Ga.

Two pages? That's pretty awesome for a paper that doesn't have "direct" ties to the MAC.

I was at a workshop in Lawrence, KS and got a chance to see the "back end" of their incredible Univ. of Kansas sports site. Man, if the Blah or the Sentinel would do 1/2 of what they do, we'd be the happiest MAC fans on the planet.
