The sinister plan is working

So we're wrapping up baseball practice today and, as usual, I pull the kids together at home plate to go over the basic rules of the team (always listen to your coach, hustle & be a good teammate) and tell them what a great job they did. Then we end with a little cheer (1-2-3 Teamwork or something like that). Well, three of Noah's former football teammates are on our baseball team and Brad, our TD machine from the Fall, says, "Can we do the Bowling Green cheer?" meaning Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba, since that's what we always ended football practice with. I obliged, of course, and the rest of the kids asked what it was all about and, well, now they know.
Did I mention that our baseball jerseys are orange, too.

'87, may I add my two cents?
Mitch's team this year, will have orange incorporated into their uniforms as well. Shirts, socks, hats and even a "God-strength" orange wrist band. (My personal contribution - sorry to all my falcon brethren who don't like them
)
We start our practices and games with a prayer, will work my way to a Ziggy closing.
Even had one young man who showed up the other day with a GMAC bowl t-shirt on.
I guess my efforts are working after all!!!!! See below.
Hope to see many of you on Saturday. Hope nothing comes up to change my plans.
