I just wanted to stop by and say: Good Game, and good luck the rest of the season. BG played tough, and it was a good opener for both of us.
Again, good game. Hope we can play again soon.

I also want to say great game - I'm glad BG exposed some problems in our secondary before we get into conference play! Omar is going to be a serious stud. I know that OU fans were not expecting him to be cool and collected under fire like he was, and if he was ever rattled in the game, he didn't show it.
You guys have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball...good luck with the rest of your season!

Ditto -OU is an incredible team. I feel like we played pretty well, but just got beaten by the better team.
Best of luck to you and the classy OU fans.
Good game

If BGSU isn't in the top 25 by the end of the season, I will be very surprised...your team looks very good....I thought both teams played well today and it was a great first game...good game...
Also, I believe Omar has the possibility to be better than Josh Harris was, but he needs to work on the mechanics and his release...those passes that were batted down could've been avoidable, if he didn't release them from a sidearm-type release....it seemed to me like he dropped it down a lot....he does have a quick release though, which is perfect for your system....
Your receivers, in my opinion, are still some of the best in the country....I think, by the end of the year, Cole Magner and Charles Sharon will have a bunch of heads turning....those guys are unbelievable....
Your defense was good today...I was proud to see my former high school teammate Brad Williams start and have a good game....he might not have made too many tackles, but that is hard to do on the interior d-line....your blitz schemes seemed to come at the perfect times, and Jason got knocked around a lot....I also think Newson will have some heads turning n the defensive backfield....he seems like a special player...
Overall, I must just say, good game....this was the game I was most looking forward to and it didn't let me down....when y'all turned that 14-point swing in the first minute of the fouth quarter, you shocked a lot of Ou fans....you should be very proud of your team, because they just earned respect from one of the biggest football programs in the country....good luck the rest of the season (I will be rooting for BGSU)

OK. Fan's Response

As were most of the posts prior to the game, nearly all of the Ok. fans' responses afterward reflected CLASS! I've become an Oklahoma fan for the rest of the season...if these folks are any indication of what our fans experienced in Norman... Had a chance to view the game at the "Freak's" house (Thanks, Mike)... but wish I'd been able to find a travel companion to go to Norman...looked like a great college football experience! 8)
thanks, Sooner fans

Previews of the class of Oklahoma fans was understated. It's one thing to catch the eye of an opposing fan and exchange a nod or a brief pleasantry - these guys come over, put out their hand, "Welcome to Oklahoma", and just get right into how happy they are to see us. Nice day, great crowd, great atmosphere all around the campus.... all in all, probably the best experience I've had on the road (with the obvious exception of the final score).
Sooner players are fast, and White might well repeat as Heisman winner.
And to the person who gave me tips about getting on down the road post-game, thanks. It worked perfectly.
To the Falcon Faithful: looks like we'll have a good year.

Thanks Sooner fans. In today's world, it means something to have some class, and you do.

I second that...
I hope OK runs the table and wins the NT.

There are some nice things being said on the Sooner Board as well. I am very impressed with 99.9% of their fans.

Also, on another thread I loved another sooner fans comment...
"oh and a big thumbs down to the officiating crew today, they were awful"
Can't agree more

I can't agree more with the class of the Oklahoma faithful. I was able to sit around nothing but OU fans, and each and everyone of them told me I should be proud to stand up and cheer when we scored, and that we had a very nice team, even though I was slightly disgusted that we didn't get a defensive stop after getting the two quick scores and let them put the game out of reach. Now I know why all the OU fans down here are proud to be Sooners. I now have someone else to root for on Saturdays besides our now well respected Falcons. And now, it is time to go to bed. 14 hours in a car in a day and a half is alot.
