ya beat me to it.

though 22 of 27 for 160 yards (and a pick) in 2+ quarters of play isn't too bad. Just doesn't have the running game or the defense to make it count for anything.

If I'm the defensive coaches, I run one full film session with #17 spot-shadowed. THAT is playing defense!

And if Sharon brings it like that every week, he'll get the props. If not this year, then definitely next.

P*ss poor performance by the Zippies. Penn State is a decent team but nothing to write home about. Guess the Zips have no d again in '04.

I really thought Akron was gonna play a good game....how wrong I was.

Hopefully with the exception of putting the rock on the turf like he did in the first half. That ended up being seven points for the sooners...who knows what we could have done with the drive.

True, though he was making some great moves and second effort before he fumbled. If he would just remember the first rule about ball carrying and not handle it like a loaf of bread, he's fine there. *shrug*
