Not sure if he was slated to be the starter next year or not.

Good information, but I contend there is nothing holy in that city to the north of us.

I disagree! The holy things are born there and then become students at BG...like myself
And from the article, "The party drew about 20,000 people at its peak." WOW! That is a lot of people at a party...anyone up for a campus party to break that?! Parties here can get shut down for having 4 people being too loud...I can't imagine 20,000!

Unfortunate for the young man. Hopefully he learns his lesson and returns to the team during the year.
I respect the Wisky coaches for taking such quick action.

here's a thread on wisconsin's board about the arrest. A few of them claim to have seen or heard what happened but it is an internet message board, tkae it fwiw. This is very similar to "discussions" we've had with UT fans about our/their players' transgressions.

I saw this yesterday on the Wisky board, but chose not to comment until it was more than just a rumor. They seem to be taking it as a fairly big hit, I don't know if he was going to be the starter, but its a possibility since their starter from the past couple years, Anthony Davis, graduated. Sounds like the RB position is up for grabs at Wisky, and someone with 350 yards rushing in a reserve role might have been the one in line to take it.
Not to perpetuate potential rumors, but the thread on this on the Wisky board said that 12 players were arrested/cited for underage drinking at this party as well.

20,000? Thats almost all of our campus at one party. That is insane. I will be curious to see if he starts for our game, cuz I wouldn't be surprised if he gets suspended for a few games.

Garret Wolfe is still at NIU, right?

While Buster Stanley was the next in line to take over for Anthony Davis, he never impressed me with breakaway speed or the homerun ability. Also, this is not necessarily good news for the Falcons who gave up 200+ the last time we faced a "back-up" RB in Garrett Wolf.
