Well, having found Wisky's board I started looking around and came across this thread: http://mb7.scout.com/fwisconsin36703frm ... 1765.topic

I started laughing about three replies into it when, instead of having an informed discussion about a quarterback who by all accounts has the potential to make their defense look like a bunch of schoolgirls in pads, the conversation quickly shifts to a Badger circle-jerk about next year's draft.

I honestly don't think they are going to know what hit them, although one guy in this thread seems pretty sure Wisconsin is going to lose their opener. 8)

Yeah i check their board and the Boise board just about daily. Most Wisconsin fans think they are going to win this game just because it is at home. I fail to make that connection though because they are far from being automatic at home over the past four seasons. There are a few that are really scared of our offense and realize that their offense will have no chance to hang.

AS for the Boise board most of their talk is about their game with Georgia which is to be expected.

I dunno, seems like a typical thread. Started out talking about QB draft prospects and devolves into another draft tangent. Not exactly any disrespect to our Falcons or Jacobs that I could see.

Many Wisconsin fans are concerned about the game. They know that they are going to have their hands full. They admittedly have problems with spread type teams.

They also know that they don't have a passing attack. If, by some reason, we go up by a couple of TDs early, they are in trouble without the quick strike ability.

it works for a lot!

The best is using Firefox with the bugmenot extension. All you have to do is right click in the login box of a site and select bugmenot and it wil find a possible login.

You are right, RUIT. I can be extremely biased with BG football (I know, it's a shock  ) but I firmly believe we beat Wisky by double digits. Big 10 or not, BG will make a statement in this game. Big crowd, big name, TV, big stage....perfect. Wisky will need time to get all their new starters going. We play them in week 1. :D
Our D needs help, no doubt. Even though I was a Beck supporter, I think we'll have some fresh ideas on how to tweak the D for this season.

Omar throws for over 400....

My early prediction? BGSU 41, Wisconsin 27.

We'll find out in 123 days....

GO FALCONS!!!!

I agree freak. I also agree with Wisky fans who predict their team to be a .500 team this year. We've proven time and time again that we can beat the mid-level teams from the Big 11 and Big 12. I think the Oklahoma experience from last year will really benefit these players as far as going in to Camp Randall and not being flustered. I've been predicting a double digit win for a while now. I am eerily confident heading into this game that we can make a statement to start the year much like the Purdue game. A win at CR could vault us into the top 20 right off the bat due to Wisconsin being overrated (I hope) in the preseason polls. My only concern is that we could be in uncharted waters by being ranked this high this soon. I just hope these kids don't start reading their own press clippings instead of watching film.

P.S. I miss the countdown clock =)
