Even with a sloppy game we still

Post by CaliSooner »

put you away handily. The game was over at 37-10. We got sloppy and let you make it look like it was closer than it ever was. After our mistakes we just pounded the ball on the ground to chew clock and you couldn't stop it. 40-24 makes it look a lot closer than it was IMO. Our players never looked nervous. They just knew that they needed to get back in their groove and do things to your team that your team couldn't stop. You guys aren't a bad team but you definitely werent going to threaten us. I know that's hard for you homers to hear since you think only a mean ol BCS system is keeping you out of the NC game (total BS), but what I said is the truth. Oh well at least the score looks good for you guys and to all the people who didn't actually watch the game.

Cal,
I've resisted responding to you since I'm not an MD and am unable to provide a prescription for your multiple psychoses.

But, you are right, OU played a game that was mostly within their control. We needed some breaks and some better tackling, of which we got neitheer.

However, you need to pull the emergency brake on the Sooner express that substitutes in your head for a brain. You've espoused the position that this is the best OU team in history. Based on the last three games, you may want to reasses that position.

Good luck to you and everyone else in your world.

Keep digging, sport!

It was NOT over. Ask Ohio State about a 2 TD lead against BGSU. That 9 mninute drive was the back-breaker. I mean you can say that, but it just isn't true. Was it over at 37-24 with almost a whole quarter left? What's your excuse for giving up 24 points? How about our 80 yard TD drivein the second half?

Again - prove your point (you can't because you are wrong), or just go away. you thought you would cover, and your team COULDN'T. You are wrong

yeah good analysis again dude. That pick on Jason White wasn't him being sloppy it was him being outplayed by our cornerback and if you want to get technical we had a fumble that was unlucky for us, helmet to ball is going to cause a fumble EVERY time so if you take that "Sloppy" play away that removes 3 points from you. Also, don't forget that little pass interference call against us on a 3rd and long for you which was totally PI AGAINST us since your receiver pushed off and grabbed our guy so that he couldn't intercept it. If you take that way thats another 7 points from you. So that means you have 30 points and we have 17. Hmm well golly thats even closer of a score ain't it. If your guys weren't a little nervous then YOU weren't watching the right game, when we got it to 37-24 with over half a quarter left you guys went for it on 4th down TWICE! If you were that confident against us you'd have safely kicked the ball away knowing your defense would mop us up on downs and you'd get the ball back with great position. Clearly you are a better analyst than everyone on TV as well as Stoops because if you read what he said he gives all the credit in the world to our program and said that we could easily compete well in the Big 12. We stomped MIZZ twice in the past 3 years and they had Brad Smith in 2002 and we beat them by 25 in our house so don't think for a minute that our team just "isn't that bad". You are just clearly way too immature to admit you were completely wrong and that our team is good and even more than that.....top 25. Remember our QB is a sophmore, you guys have a 6th year guy, just wait 1-2 years and see where Jacobs takes us if not this year.

Forget this jerkwad guys. He is not representative of the Sooner Nation. He may even be a poser trying to give us a bad name.

You all came to play and put up a very good showing against the best team in the nation. I can see you going undefeated the rest of the season. When you play against D's that will allow you some run yards, you will be very balanced and hard to stop.

Good luck the rest of the season. I'll be rooting for you. You seem like good fans.
