Questions About Falcon Club

Haven't heard much about the Falcon Club lately. Here are some questions I have.

1-How are they doing in terms of membership growth?

2-How are they doing in terms of fund raising?

3-Where does the money raised go? Does it all go to grants in aid or are there are areas they give to?

4-Is there any connection between the Falcon Club and the new Sebo Center? For example, will the Falcon Club have their meetings there?

5-Are there Falcon Club groups in other cities throughout Ohio or other states?

6-What is the connection between the Falcon Club and Alumni groups as far as support for BG athletics.

7- Has the Falcon Club developed a plan for the future? For example, does it have specific goals for becoming a much larger source of support for BG athletics?

That's all for now but maybe some of you can come up with other questions?

3-Where does the money raised go? Does it all go to grants in aid or are there are areas they give to?

All money raised by the Falcon Club goes back to scholarship $$$. 100%

4-Is there any connection between the Falcon Club and the new Sebo Center?

Not really, other than the fact Mr. Sebo is also a Falcon Club member.

For example, will the Falcon Club have their meetings there?

I don't know.

5-Are there Falcon Club groups in other cities throughout Ohio or other states?

No. The Falcon Club is one group that has membership across the country. Different from the Alumni Association and how they organize.

6-What is the connection between the Falcon Club and Alumni groups as far as support for BG athletics.

The Falcon Club will assist the Office of Alumni Affairs at events abroad. Last year in Oklahoma, there was a Falcon Club mixer at the hotel the night before the game and the next morning, many of the same people at the Falcon Club mixer were also out at the Duck Pnd for the Alumni Association event.

Thank you "transfer". By the way, how are the number and quality of admissions applications for next year going? Is the plan still to cap total enrollment at about where it's at now?

Things are going well, but I still get nervous until classes begin in August. We are trying to bring in a freshman class of 3,850 (down 75 from last fall). Preliminary numbers for those with Professors Scholarships are up, from Michigan are up, many of our priority areas are up (and up substantially).

My job is on the line based upon the decision making process of 17 and 18 year olds....
