Anyone have the inside scoop on the route Brandon is going to take? By now, we all know the positives and negatives of each potential scenario.
There are some on the board who maintain regular contact with the coaches...any beans you might be willing to spill?

The fact that no announcement has yet been made leads me to believe that a serious search for someone outside is underway. Of course this doesn't rule out that a coach currently on the staff will be appointed. I think a serious search for candidates both inside and outside the present staff is the way to go.
I hope though that this doesn't lead to a number of people leaving our coaching staff.
I'm not aware of all the issues for Beckman leaving. I do think that the writing is on the wall--a major effort is underway to improve our defense and this probably includes recruiting, coaching, etc.

I agree Salsa. We need the D back to 2001 level to win the MAC. Everyone knows we have the O.
Patiently waiting.....
