Purdue learns its lesson

Post by TG1996 »

"If you remember last year, Purdue lost its season opener to Bowling Green..." -ABC's Brad Nessler

yup, I remember! They weren't about to make that mistake again, 51-0 over Syracuse.

I had to laugh, though, the TV crew kept saying how "Syracuse could expect its lumps, you're not going to score much breaking in a new QB."

You can't? Watch us.

I agree that Omar will habve a great year but in all fairness to this comparison, their QB is a true freshman 18 years old while ours is a redshirt sophomore. . .

c'mon DD, I'm trying to be warm and fuzzy here!!!

Though I get your point, and thought the same thing. Still excited over Omar's performance yesterday, I guess.

Being as big a Syracuse fan as a BG fan, there is no comparasion. This is Omar's 3rd year in the program and he got to study under Harris for two years, not to mention PLAY in college games last year....Joe Fields is 18 years old and was playing in a high school game this time last year.....good thing it looks like BG will come through again this year, cause it's gonna be a rough year on the hill at SU..... :(
