Has this been posted before? In the article posted on the BG website about Omar being a pre-season 2nd team All-American selection (posted May 18), it says that BG-Wisconsin will be on ESPN at noon.

Noon? Ugh. That means an 11 am start local time and a MUCH longer day, especially with an afternoon full of victory beers. Though I guess it was coming down between noon and 1, so an hour doesn't make much difference, just a quicker pregame pace.
This is cool, though. As nice as it would be to be on the networks (and thus avoid the inevitable Jones/Davies/Rowe tandem that seems to follow us around like a lost puppy), this likely guarantees that it will be a national telecast. No need for pay per view for those of ya staying at home for this one!

In addition, outlets such as ESPN's College Gameday, Sports Illustrated, and the Orlando Sentinel have contacted the BGSU Athletic Communications Office this week to inquire about the Falcons and their quarterback.
Maybe we could have ESPN gameday @ the Doyt on October 8th. Yeah its only against Ohio U, but it is against a high profile coach in Frank Zolich. That is the only possible game they could attend, unless they want to show up for the Temple game.

How about the debut of "Gameday Tuesday" in late November? What better way to spend an afternoon of broadcasting on ESPN recapping the first rivalry weekend the Saturday before, pump the hell out of BG-UT, and still have the Thanksgiving weekend rivalries to preview. Throw in a couple undefeated teams and it would be a hell of a night in ol' BG!!!
For the record, since I didn't see it posted anywhere (at least not as its own thread), here's the link to Omar being named second team preseason all-american by Sporting News, and the Falcons coming in at #21 in their preseason rankings.

Closing in on the final 100 days. I'm freaking stoked. So stoked, in fact, that I'd use a word that I never thought would come out of my mouth/fingertips, "stoked".

I thought ESPN would pick up this game. They play so many big ten games on saturdays.

Thats Great news. Plus, When the KY Alumni Chapter gets together to watch the game, de facto President UK Peregrine won't have to shell out any money to get it. He can instead spend it on Burgers and Beer.

Not right now. The trial version of that program has run out for me. So until I find a reason to drop the money on the full version, we're all just going to have to subract an hour in our minds.
