I understand the idea of letting Omar only play the first half. But, with him being so young and still needing to polish the skills with this offense, do you see any value in letting him play at least 3 quarters? I know he risks getting injured but I think he still needs to fine tune his game especially before the NIU game which will be huge!! Who knows maybe SEMO will keep it close and coach B will have to keep the first team in all game.
Your thoughts?

I say let him play the whole game. He'll need all the snaps he can get before going into the NIU game.

If we let him play the entire game it would really get ugly. Think of what the EKU and Liberty games would have been like if we had let J5 run the whole show? Of course Omar was no slacker in the games either, but he is certainly on another level than he was before.
I am thinking he will play the whole first half and then sit, of course this is depending on the score. While Omar does need snaps, currently he is our ONLY QB to have taken snaps in a game....Cole and PJ don't count.

So in respect to scoring 100 points on them and getting some backup experiences, O4 will sit out at least half the game.

I would project, if the game goes according to plan, that we see Van Johnson for a couple series then J. Washington for a series.
Turner will not play this season unless Omar Jacobs is injured and Turner is needed to win that game etc. Just my opinion only.
Go Falcons!

That's my guess, even though Brandon has declared Turner No. 2

HEY! I say Omar needs to play all game. And what's this guaranteed blow-out stuff??? Are all those "that's why they play the game" speeches that we give all the big schools when they come here and spout off? Does that only count when we are the massive underdogs??? Ask MSU about Rutgers. All we would need now is for BG to look past SEMO and blow it or eaven make it interesting! Forget NIU...They are 3 weeks away...

Speaking of who's going ot play Saturday, I hope Jenkins Reese gets a lot of playing time. Did anyone see that hit he had on Jones towards the end of the game? Also, Terrell White was pretty impressive at LB.
